Disney Springs

The transformation of Downtown Disney into Disney Springs has brought with it a whole new variety of tasty bites. These snacks are more unique and sometimes have an ethnic twist.  Thankfully, some of the classic snacks that Downtown Disney was known for were not lost in the transition.

From the Marketplace, to Town Center, to The Landing, to the West Side, there are no shortage of snacks at Disney Springs. While many are grab and go, others provide opportunities to relax and take a break from it all.  With a mix of old favorites and new flavors, anyone and everyone will be sure to find something to match their craving at Disney Springs.

Disney Springs Snacks

1. Create Your Own Crisped Rice Treat

Location: Goofy’s Candy Co. – Marketplace
Price: $5.49 (1 DDP Snack Credit)

Goofy’s has just about anything to satisfy any sweet tooth. Their cases are filled with sugary treats from caramel apples to marshmallows on a stick. The best snack you can get there, though, is the Create Your Own Mickey Krispy Rice treat. You’ll watch in awe as your rice treat is dipped, topped and drizzles right before your very eyes.

2. Triple Chocolate Brownie

Location: Earl of Sandwich – Marketplace
Price: $2.59 (1 DDP Snack Credit)

While most people head to the Earl of Sandwich for their world class sandwiches, we make sure to stop by for a brownie (or 6).

This is James’ favorite snack in all of Walt Disney World. Moist, chewy and super chocolatey, they make a great snack by themselves or paired with a sandwich.

4. Ice Cream Sundae

Location: Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop – Marketplace
Price: $11.95 – $14.50

You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu at Ghiradelli Ice Cream Shop. While it’s home to one of the Disney ice cream challenges, we need to give some props to the sundaes, which are some of the best on property. Each one is created with Ghiradelli chocolate, with the signature sundaes named with a wink and a nod to San Francisco.

I am a big fan of the Intense Dark Sundaes, especially the “Painted Ladies” Espresso Escape. If you love coffee and chocolate, it’s a must try.

4. Poutine

Classic poutine in a cup on a table

Location: The Daily Poutine – Marketplace
Price: $9.49 – $9.99

We were so excited to hear about getting poutine at Disney Springs, and it didn’t disappoint. The Daily Poutine offers a classic poutine of French Fries, gravy, and cheese curds. Or, for a twist, you can try a Latin, Italian, or French version.

5. Bubble Waffles

Location: Aristocrepes – Marketplace
Price: $8.99

Bubble Waffles look amazing! These thin waffles with raised “bubbles” are wrapped around ice cream and topped with sauces and treats. You can get Salted Caramel or Strawberry.

The assorted variety of sweet and savory crepes all look good too! And the sweet dessert crepes count as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan.

6. Mickey Mousse Cake

Location: Amarette’s Patisserie – Town Center
Price: $8.00

You can’t go to Disney Springs and not go inside Amorette’s Patisserie. Even if you somehow don’t try any of their cakes or desserts, every Disney fan will love seeing the artistry on display full of Disney touches.

Perhaps the most iconic of the smaller offerings that make a good snack is the Mickey Mousse Cake. Not just adorable to look at, but rich and delicious to eat too with its chocolate chiffon cake and both dark chocolate and white chocolate mousse!

7. Cupcakes

assorted Cupcakes on the shelves behind glass at Sprinkles

Location: Sprinkles Cupcakes – Town Center
Price: $4.95-$5.95

If you love a good cupcake, then Sprinkles has you covered with many varieties and a cupcake of the month. The only problem is that you might not be able to decide which cupcake you want! (If that’s the case, you can get a sampler.)

You might even be able to get a cupcake without entering the bakery using the cupcake ATM machine outside.

8. Coke Float Flight

Location: Coca-Cola Store Rooftop Beverage Bar – Town Center
Price: $10.50

Most of our snack lists include a beverage of some sort. At Disney Springs, we’ve included EIGHT! On the rooftop of the Coca-Cola Store, you can order a tray of eight different flavors of Coke served as mini-floats each with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

9. Chocolate Assortment

assorted chocolates at the ganachery in Disney Springs

Location: The Ganachery – The Landing
Price: $15.00 (6), $21.00 (9), $27.00 (12)

New on the Disney Springs block is The Ganachery, a chocolate boutique. Inside you will find one of a kind chocolates, full bars inspired by Disney Parks and character themed lollipops.

To get the best experience, spring for a chocolate assortment. You can get a custom packaged box of 6, 9, or 12 chocolates.

10. Gelato

vivoli il gelato flavors

Location: Vivoli il Gelato – The Landing
Price: $5.25 (1 DDP Snack Credit) – $7.25

Straight from Florence, Italy, Vivoli serves gelati, sorbetti and espresso drinks. I’ve loved gelato since taking a trip to Italy. While we haven’t had the chance to try Viloli yet, I look forward to sampling the chocolate hazelnut flavor among others.

Getting a small cup allows you to try 2 flavors, while a medium cup holds up to 3 flavors and a large cup holds 4 flavors. The small cup can be purchased using a Disney Dining Plan snack credit.

YUM! Less than 4 weeks away from my trip. I think I might have to spring for that sundae at Ghiradelli. I'm on a mission to try more ice cream at Disney this trip. And I love coffee and chocolate!
