These Lady and the Tramp Spaghetti and Meatball cupcakes are the perfect treat for watching the original Lady and the Tramp movie or the live action on Disney+.
Disney is known for its one of a kind love stories and fairy tales. Princes and Princesses living happily ever after are the first images that spring to mind when thinking about Disney romance.
But for me, the most romantic and iconic Disney scene doesn’t involve Princes and Princesses at all. Instead, it has to do with two dogs sharing a plate of spaghetti in the back alley behind Tony’s Restaurant. Lady and the Tramp is a heart warming movie that shows the definition of true love.

To honor such a beautiful depiction of love, I made “Spaghetti and Meatball” cupcakes. They look complicated, but are surprisingly simple. All you need are a handful of ingredients and you have a sweet treat perfect for a date night or even a Lady and the Tramp movie night.
Ingredients:

- Batch of cupcakes, your choice of flavor
- Vanilla frosting
- Strawberry preserves
- Ferrero Rocher hazelnut candy or chocolate
truffles
Materials
- Piping bag or Ziploc baggie
- Round decorating tip
Directions:
Bake a batch of your favorite flavored cupcake. I used white cake mix for my cupcakes. Give the cupcakes time to cool. In the meantime, spoon the frosting into a piping bag or Ziploc baggie that has a small round decorating tip inside it. Your tip should be able to pipe frosting that is the width of a strand of cooked spaghetti, about 1/8 of an inch.

Once the cupcakes are cool, pipe the frosting all over the cupcake. Pile the frosting strands one on top of another to resemble spaghetti.

Spoon half of the preserves into a small bowl. Add about a teaspoon of water. Stir. Then pop the bowl in the microwave for about 30 seconds. This is to thin out the consistency of the preserves. Place the candy, one at a time, into the preserves bowl. Toss it around to coat completely. Spoon the candy over the cupcake. Drizzle some extra preserves over the top of the cupcake to make it ‘saucy’.

Serve and enjoy!
Whether it’s a family movie night, date night or just a special night with your family, these cupcakes are the perfect sweet treat.

Super cute! I have seen spaghetti and meatball cupcakes done with Whoppers as meatballs, but not Ferrero Rochers! I'm going to have to try this!

Thanks! I thought the Ferrero Rochers gave the "meatball" more texture. Hope you try it!
