First Trailer Released for Disney’s “Christopher Robin”

Disney has released the first trailer for the upcoming live action movie, “Christopher Robin”. The film stars Ewen McGregor as a grown-up Christopher Robin, and we finally get to see Pooh Bear brought to life…

Ewan McGregor plays Christopher Robin opposite his longtime friend Winnie the Pooh in Disney’s heartwarming live action adventure CHRISTOPHER ROBIN.

Here is the trailer…

I honestly knew very little about the movie until today. Seeing this has me intrigued. The stuffed bear brought to life will be enough to have us in the theater, but there seems to be the makings of a familiar, yet much needed story here.

In the heartwarming live action adventure, the young boy who embarked on countless adventures in the Hundred Acre Wood with his band of spirited and lovable stuffed animals, has grown up and lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin remember the loving and playful boy who is still inside.

It immediately harkens to the story of a grown Peter Pan who has lost his way in “Hook”. But this time, the long lost friends of youth have come out of their home in the Hundred Acre Wood to help Christopher Robin in his world.

It remains to be seen if we’ll get a glimpse of the Hundred Acre Wood. There is sure to be another trailer or two before the movie hits theaters August 3rd. What do you think of “Christopher Robin” so far? Will you be buying tickets to see it when it comes out?
