On our last visit to Walt Disney World, we had the pleasure of dining at Sanaa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge-Kidani Village. With its views of the savanna and Indian/African fusion cooking, Sanaa has been added to my must eat list and will highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it.
One of the highlights of our meal was the Indian Style bread service. When ordering this, you have 2 choices, 3 breads and 3 accompaniments or 3 breads and all 9 accompaniments.

For research sake (ha ha), we opted to try all 9. For our breads we chose the 3 different Naan breads, traditional, garlic-ginger and spiced.
The spiciest dips, Spicy Jalepeno-Lime Pickle, Garlic Pickle, and Red Chile Sambal, were in the middle of the dish. They were very spicy and would only recommend them to people who really love spicy food. The outer rows were a combo of sweet and spicy dips. After trying all 9, my favorites include the Cucumber Raita, Mango Chutney, and the Coconut Chutney. The Coriander Chutney and Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus were also very good. Although our kids didn’t try the dips, they loved the Naan bread!
You know this was a memorable part of your meal when almost 3 weeks later, I am still craving it. This would be a fun dish to try to re-create at home (stay tuned)

We celebrated our 8th anniversary at Sanaa. It was not our first choice, but we booked our trip about two months in advance, and our anniversary typically falls the week of Thanksgiving so everything else was full. We were pleasantly surprised! The bread service was sooooo amazing!

Thanks for stopping by! Sometimes we need to do 'tough' things in the name of blogging. Hopefully I'll get to do more 'research' on future trips.

Yum, I'm glad you took one for the team and did the research on all 9. This sounds good and the naan looks so good. Thanks for joining the hop this week!
