This week’s Foodie Friday post is not about a food, but a delicious drink we discovered on our last visit to Animal Kingdom. For years, we have been big fans of the Jungle Juice (or POG juice at ‘Ohana) that is served at Tusker House. Imagine our surprise when as we were walking out of the Festival of the Lion King, we saw a cart not only selling Jungle Juice, but Jungle Juice Slushie! We knew we had to try it!

What Jungle Juice is made of is Passion Fruit, Orange and Guava juices. In this version, the juices are frozen and turned into a slush.

You can have it served in a cup or in a souvenir mug that doubles as a flute. As you can see we got both.

It was the perfect mid-afternoon beverage for a hot summer day! I only wish I knew how to make it at home!
You can buy a Jungle Juice Slushie at the Harambe Popcorn kiosk in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The kiosk is located on the outskirts of the new Festival of the Lion King building.
Slushie only – $3.99
Musical Tumbler with Slushie – $11.99

Oh we love the juice as well. I have heard you can make it at home by mixing equal parts of passionfruit, orange, and guava juices - but we haven't tried it. Love the flute cup. Thanks for sharing and linking up this week!

Oh. My. Gosh. I will definitely be trying this on our trip this fall. We have Tusker House ressies for LUNCH, so I was thinking how we'd be missing out on our favorite juice this time. My only problem will be deciding whether or not to splurge on the souvenir cup. I NEVER do that, but this one really tempts me!
