Spring is the perfect time to inspire kids to connect with nature by starting a garden. That’s why a My Fairy Garden Easter basket makes perfect sense this holiday.
We were given a My Fairy Garden set and some accessories to show how you can put together an Easter basket with everything your child needs to grow their own magical garden to play in.
Benefits of Gardening
As parents, we’re always looking to get our children hooked on activities that are beneficial to their development. Gardening has a wealth of benefits to offer, including:
- Engages the Senses
- Exercises Fine Motor Skills
- Encourages Healthy Eating
- Sense of Responsibility
- Teaches Patience
- Reinforces Science Concepts Learned in School
- Relieves Stress
- Grows Confidence
Now, add to all that the fun, joy, and imagination that are inspired when you turn a simple garden into a home for fairies!
Building a My Fairy Garden Easter Basket
My Fairy Garden sets are perfect for starting your own garden because they have everything you need. In fact, we grew our own My Fairy Garden a few months ago.
To build your basket, start with one of the My Fairy Garden sets like the Magical Cottage or Tree Hollow, which you can find at your local Target. You can even use Target’s Free Order Pickup service to buy it online and then pick up at the front of the store!
With each set being so unique, and each one being home to a different fairy, you can easily add to your collection and create a whole community to grow and play with.
But if you just want to add another fairy friend or two, you can do that too with one of these new scented garden fairies! We found each for a great price on Amazon:
Each scented fairy comes with a scented flower which smells like the one they are named for. They also come with a butterfly and a hair clip, so the butterfly can be worn as a barrette!
