A big part of what we do to “get psyched” and excited for our upcoming trips is to have Disney Family Movie Nights. Since we are about 10 days away from leaving for our next trip, we’ve been trying to schedule at least one a week.
One of our recent movie nights revolved around the movie, “Secret of the Wings”. If you’ve been keeping up with our countdown, you know we have a Pixie Princess in our house. As you could probably guess, she was very excited to do this one!
For this movie night we kept it simple since it was only going to be mommy and the two kids. I decided to go with a picnic theme.
Welcome to Tink and Periwinkle’s Pixie Picnic
One side of the table represented The Autumn Woods and the other represented The Winter Woods
Tink’s part of the picnic was:
– Fairy Mary’s Berry Salad
– Rosetta’s Garden Veggies
-Sunflower Seed
– Tomato and Mozzarella ‘Mushrooms’
We also had Secret of the Wings Sandwiches
Bella was in charge of decor. We were so happy that both Tink and Peri decided to join us!
Jackson really enjoyed his picnic food…
…so did Bella, our resident Pixie Princess
Dessert was made for us in the Winter Woods. We had:
– Snow Caps
– Marshmallow Snow Balls
– Iced Cookies
– Mini Hot Chocolates
This night was so quick and easy to put together. It really doesn’t take much to have a great Disney Family Movie Night. Just a few snacks, a great movie, and the ones you love.
