Spring is almost here! This Springtime Mickey Flower Wreath is just the thing to welcome in the new season.

While it hasn’t been the roughest of winters where I live, I’m definitely looking forward to spring. I can’t wait to get outside more often, maybe plant some flowers and take some long overdue bike rides with the kids. Since I’m in a springtime mood, I decided to make a new wreath for our house.
Springtime at Walt Disney World is one of my favorite times of the year. From the bright and beautiful bloom and topiaries at the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival to the warmer temperatures, there’s so much to do and see.

For Christmas, I made a Mickey Santa Wreath that was just adorable. So naturally, when it came time to usher in a new season, I though why not make a Springtime Mickey Flower Wreath.
Springtime Mickey Flower Wreath
This craft is super easy to do. There are not a lot of supplies and it doesn’t take very long to make. The hardest part is using a hot glue gun. Here’s how to make your very own Springtime Mickey Flower Wreath.
Supplies

- 2 Small grapevine wreaths
- 1 medium grapevine wreath
- 1 bunch of silk flowers
- ribbon
- wire, burlap string or baggie ties
Note: You will also need a hot glue gun and scissors or wire cutter.
Instructions

- Arrange wreaths to create a Mickey head. Use wire, burlap string or baggie ties to attach the “ears” to the “head.” Make sure the twist or the knot faces the backside of the head so it’s not visible.
- Cut flowers from the silk flower bunch with scissors or wire cutter. The bunch I used made it easy to “pluck” the individual flowers from the stems.
- Arrange flowers in the wreath in any pattern you wish. Insert flowers into the wreath.
- Carefully hot glue the flowers to the wreath to hold in place.
- Create a bow with the ribbon and hot glue the bow to the wreath.
Hang your wreath inside or on your door. It will add a touch of Disney magic to your springtime decor.
