Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Walt Disney World’s largest, and perhaps most underrated, theme park. Come with us on a virtual visit, exploring each and every show and attraction right from the comfort of your home.

Our virtual Animal Kingdom tour will take you on the safari in Africa, up to the top of Everest in Asia, and back to the time of the Dinosaurs.
Virtual Walt Disney World Series
We have compiled virtual tours for all 4 theme parks as a fun way to explore and enjoy the parks when you can’t be there. Because the majority of these videos are from the guest’s point of view (POV), they can be even more fun viewed through VR headsets for your phone, or by projecting it on a wall or viewing on a big screen tv.
You can even get creative and make ride vehicles to sit in and add your own special effects. Have fun with it!!
And because it’s all virtual, you can hop from park to park as much as you want. Here are the links to the other parks:
Disney’s Virtual Animal Kingdom Walk Through
Take a stroll around the entire park, starting with a great view of the Tree of Life, and heading through Dinoland, Asia, Africa, and Pandora – The World of Avatar.
Discovery Island
Home to the Tree of Life, Oasis Trails, and lots of shops and dining options, Discovery Island is the hub of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
It’s Tough to Be a Bug!
Be an honorary bug and learn about the world of insects at It’s Tough to be a Bug! This 3D show has some 4D effects you won’t get to enjoy at home. But it’s a lot less scary for the little kids virtually.
Viva Gaia Street Band
Throughout the day, the Viva Gaia Street Band performs and invites guests to join in on the fun!
Pandora – The World of Avatar
Pandora – The World of Avatar is the newest land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It boasts one of Walt Disney World’s most popular attractions, and the land gives park-goers a reason to stay and explore after the sun goes down.
Avatar Flight of Passage
Experience what it feels like to fly on the back of a banshee as you swoop through the forests and floating mountains of Pandora. This ride is meant to be viewed through 3D glasses, but it still looks pretty good in this video.
Na’vi River Journey
This relaxing boat ride takes you through the bioluminescent world of the jungles of Pandora, where you meet a very impressive animatronic Na’vi shaman.
Pandora Drummers – Swotu Waya
Enjoy the beat being layed down by the Pandora Drummers. Kids can play many of these drums when the drummers are not there.
Pandora Rangers
Check out the Pandora Rangers as they demonstrate the exocarrier suit used to work on Pandora.
Africa
The Africa section of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to the Kiliminjaro Safaris, the Patagani Jungle Exploration Trail, and the Festival of the Lion King show.
Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail
Explore a lush tropical forest inhabited by native African wildlife including gorillas, hippos and exotic birds.
Kiliminjaro Safaris
Take a guided tour of the African Savanna with 34 species of animals.
Festival of the Lion King
Celebrate the story of The Lion King with its songs brought to life through singing, dancing, and acrobatics.
Tam Tam Drummers
Feel the beat of the Tam Tam Drummers as they inspire guests to shake it.
Asia
Guests who venture into Asia may find themselves in the perils of Everest or the Kali Rapids, or maybe even come up close to tigers.
Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain
This is my favorite roller coaster in Walt Disney World. The combination of height, speed, and the darkness when you pass through the mountain all combine for the perfect thrill ride.
Kali River Rapids
Take a raft journey along the whitewater of this Asian jungle, as geysers and 20-foot plunge threaten to get you soaked! We found a 360-degree video to really immerse you in this ride.
Maharajah Jungle Trek
Walk along the jungle trails to find bats, tigers, and more.
Bollywood Beats
Get swept up in an exhilarating Indian dance experience, featuring traditional forms and show-stopping musical numbers.
Up! A Great Bird Adventure
See some of the world’s most exotic birds during this show starring the fun-loving pals from Disney and Pixar’s Up.
Dinoland U.S.A.
Dinoland is a carnival-like atmosphere in the time right before the demise of the dinosaurs. You can eat, play in the boneyard, test your luck at carnival games, and ride some wacky rides.
Dinosaur
In this dark thrill ride, you travel back in time to right before the meteor strike that wiped out the dinosaurs in an attempt to bring one back with you.
Primeval Whirl
This spinning coaster is a wackier time machine themed ride. It’s one of those rides we think is better at night with all the lights on.
TriceraTops Spin
Climb aboard a Triceratop and ride around and control its height and tilt it forward and back.
Finding Nemo – The Musical
Watch the story of Finding Nemo on stage in this Broadway-style show with elaborate puppets.
Rafiki’s Planet Watch
You can get an inside look at how Disney’s Animal Kingdom cares for its animals and learn about conservation efforts at Rafiki’s Planet Watch.
Wildlife Express Train
All aboard the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, and then back again to the Harambe station.
The Animation Experience
Learn to draw like a Disney animator in this hands-on class. This session will show you how to draw Scar.
Nighttime Shows
Rivers of Light
Celebrate the majesty of nature with this reimagined nighttime show featuring special effects and musical score.
Tree of Life – Awakenings
At night, the Tree of Life comes to life to tell the stories of some of the animals that adorn it.
We hope you enjoyed this virtual visit to Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Be sure to bookmark this page so you can come back whenever you want to visit! And check out the rest of our Virtual Walt Disney World tour, including Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
