The first teaser trailer for “Toy Story 4” has dropped!
Woody and the rest of the toys are back for an all-new adventure in “Toy Story 4,” welcoming new friends to Bonnie’s room, including a reluctant new toy called Forky, who we get our first look at during this short clip:
Okay, so this doesn’t tell us a whole lot about the plot of “Toy Story 4”. We see all the familiar faces holding hands as we listen to Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now”, which is interrupted by Forky’s exclamation that he “doesn’t belong here!”, which breaks the circle and causes all the toys to crash into one another. “I’m not a toy!” yells Forky before running off.
It’s cute. And we all got a good laugh at the toys bumping into one another in slow motion. But we’re not sure what to make of Forky yet.
He is more of a craft than a toy. Yet he’s obviously become part of the gang but seems unable to accept that he is no longer a utensil. This appears to be the conflict that Forky and our favorite toys will be dealing with in “Toy Story 4”.
We look forward to seeing more of Forky as we get closer to Toy Story 4 hitting theaters in June of next year.
